Many international students opt to study in Germany since the majority of public universities are free for all students, regardless of country. Nevertheless, entrance is difficult to obtain because there are few spots available and understanding German is typically required. Conversely, private institutions provide English-taught programs that are more affordable to enroll in but also have more selective admissions.
